PC Game News - NCsoft sees '04 profits double

South Korea's NCsoft posted a net profit of 77.7 billion won ($75.6 million) in 2004, the firm has reported. That figure is more than double the 31.6 billion won ($30.8 million) profit that NCsoft, publisher of Lineage and City of Heroes, reaped in 2003. NCsoft's full-year operating profit also jumped in 2004 to 109 billion won ($106.1 million), a 97 percent increase over 2003's figure, and sales rose to 246.9 billion won ($240.3 million). Founded in 1997, NCsoft has more than 1,200 employees worldwide.
