EVE Online reaches 70,000 subscribers

Icelandic developer CCP's massively multiplayer online role-playing game EVE Online reached 70,000 subscribers this week. According to the game's WebSite, it reached another milestone earlier this month when a record 15,209 subscribers were logged on simultaneously. That number becomes more impressive when you take into account that the EVE Online community is a single gameworld--many other MMORPGs divide users up into multiple identical gameworlds.
