The Sims 2 Holiday Edition

Electronic Arts today announced that it is injecting an element of festive seasonal cheer into its Sims franchise with the November 17 release of The Sims 2: Holiday Edition for the PC. Carrying the same $49.99 price as the original release of The Sims 2, the bundle includes the full original game, as well as 40 new holiday-themed objects, from stockings to hang by a chimney with care, to a tacky reindeer lawn ornament.

Existing owners of The Sims 2 won't be entirely left out in the cold, as EA will offer The Sims 2 Holiday Party Pack, essentially just an add-on consisting of the Holiday Edition's extra content, directly through its Official WebSite. EA has not yet announced a price for the Holiday Party Pack.
